What I have always loved about being in the wedding industry is being able to experience all the different types of celebrations and groups of people that I come across in my work. I had only fished at Breezy Point a few times in the middle of the night and knew nothing of the community except that they must really love the beach. Commuting out of there every day must be a nightmare. After this wedding I think it’s probably worth it. Living on Breezy Point is like living on a Caribbean Island where life is a bit slower and carefree yet right across Jamaica bay and hours of traffic is New York City. Mixing Stephanie’s Breezy Point family with John’s, mostly visiting from Ireland, was nothing short of epic. I finally left at 2:30am realizing that this one was going till sunrise. I can now say I’ve done a BBQ keg party wedding on the beach, with a homemade 100×120 dancefloor built by the groom, and shot a couple at 2am on top their full size Caterpillar. I wonder where I’ll be next.
Crashers welcome!
