Here are some photos from a fun day bouncing around a bit through Manhattan with Maya + Brian a few weeks before their wedding. I often get asked, “When should we do our engagement session?” My reply is, “Whenever you would like!” There is no “rule” for when an engagement session should take place. I’ve photographed engagements sessions just a few days prior to the wedding to as far out as 18 months before the wedding. It’s a time for a couple to celebrate their courtship to this point, their engagement to be married, and to look forward to the future together! I say it’s always a good time to do that.
