Darlene + Matthew Wedding at Bayard Arboretum

The smallest wedding I have ever photographed was also one of the most meaningful for me. Darlene and Matthew’s wedding put things in perspective for me about what weddings are really all about, how special they are, and how important my job truly is. Typically I do my best not to let the emotion of a wedding day make me forget that I’m there to capture it and preserve memories for everyone to enjoy later. At this wedding I was fighting myself not to put the camera down and just be a witness to the expression of devotion and love between these 2 kids promising the rest of their lives to one another.
