I’ve always wanted to photograph a New York city hall ceremony. When one of my friends that I met teaching 8 years ago, Christopher, asked me for a favor I jumped at the opportunity. Danielle and Chris cancelled their November wedding to help a close relative pay for unexpected funeral expenses after a death in the family. Knowing that they had booked another NYC photographer so I could attend their wedding, I asked why she wasn’t shooting this short mid-week ceremony. Turns out that when they had to switch their date she, in all her wisdom, enforced part of her contract – the part that entitles her to keep their entire deposit. I was happy to be in a position to help out a friend and did it shooting something I had always wanted to anyway. I hope you guys enjoy and cherish your wedding gift!
Some excitement after a paperwork error almost had Chris married to another Danielle from the Bronx.
awww! send my congrats to Chris!
