Kara + Steve Wedding at Water’s Edge

I always enjoy a good road trip and a chance to shoot someplace new. On this weekend I had the chance to visit the beautiful Connecticut coastline on the Long Island Sound for Kara + Steve’s Wedding. I spent many summers viewing the sound from the other side over on Long Island and guess what, it’s just as nice on the this side! This was a fun filled day with gorgeous settings throughout from Kara’ s parents home, to the St. Patrick’s Catherdral in Norwich, and finally to The Water’s Edge Resort in Westbrook for the reception.

Hannah and Garret NYC Engagement

Hannah + Garrett wanted an epic engagement session that featured all of their favorite spots in the city. So, that’s what we did! It was a long day, but it was so worth it! We started at Grand Central Terminal, then headed to Central Park to the spot that Garrett had proposed just a few months earlier. After working up an appetite, we stopped at their favorite bakery, Crumbs, for some snacks. After a quick change, we headed to the Hudson River and finally ended the shoot in and around Times Square. These two go down in the record books as the first couple to outlast me!

Jennifer + Kevin Wedding at Three Village Inn

Last time we saw Jen and Kevin was at their Central Park Engagement and I was looking forward to seeing them again for their wedding at the Three Village Inn in Stony Brook. It was a rainy day but we made the most of it and captured some great images in part due to the wonderful and accommodating staff at the Inn. It was great to see familiar faces including the priest who married Estela and I waaaaaay back in 2003 – Father Bob, and my friend Mary McConville from Tears of Joy Photography. Thanks for telling Jen and Kevin about my work Mary!
