Alison and Jason have spent their relationship falling in love in, and with, the cozy little harbor town of Northport. This was a bittersweet day for them as they had just finished packing up their walk-up on Main Street in preparation for for a move to Grand Island, New York. We visited all of their favorite spots and had a fantastic time capturing memories. They’re both doing great upstate and I’m looking forward to their return for the wedding in June!

Thanks to all of our wonderful clients, Infocus NYC has received The Knot.com’s Best of Weddings Award for 2012! Since it’s based on client reviews, we couldn’t be happier! 2011 was our busiest year yet with even more on our calendar for 2012. One of the best things about my job is all the wonderful people I get to meet and form relationships with. I met Kristie and Domenick through one of our other clients, Maria + Marino. I liked their laid back easy going demeanor from the start. I was so happy when they choose me as their photographer for the wedding at one of the more photography friendly venues on the Island. I enjoy shooting at the West Sayville Country Club because of the variety of the outdoor areas and their close proximity to each other. One second you’re in a big open field the next you are on a dock by the water. Since the wedding I’ve done a portrait session with Kristie and Domenick (soon to be featured on the blog) and have even photographed Domenick’s baby niece (also coming soon). Whenever the photographer stress sinks in, yes we have stress too, I can visit Kristie’s facebook wall and see a bunch of my photos posted with her comments of appreciation and praise all over them. It makes me feel great to know how happy my clients are with their pictures and that keeps me keeping on!
