Jyothi + Jason Engagement at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

I had always envisioned Jyothi and Jason’s engagement session outdoors.  I had been planning the shoot in my head and was really looking forward to photographing this soft spoken couple who are both so deeply devoted to the Ministry of their faith.  So devoted in fact that they have lived apart while Jason serves the church in Houston. Then it happened, it rained, severely on the 1 day Jason was here in New York for their engagement session.  Not the kind of rain where a colorful umbrella will get us through the session with some fun shots of them jumping though puddles.  The kind of storm that knocks trees down, power lines, floods the roads etc.  The kind that postpones sessions.  The backup plan for this situation has been in my head for a while and I was eager to give it go.  Here it is.  My first entirely indoor engagement session featuring Jyothi and Jason.  Priceless works of art don’t make for bad scenery I suppose.  Stay tuned for the wedding post coming soon!
