Kristin + Dave Engagement in Manhattan

It’s the coldest night of the year tonight – record breaking even. I thought I’d go back a few months when you could walk outside without getting frostbite or hypothermia in a matter of minutes. Kristin and Dave choose 2 of the nicest parks in the city for their engagement session. Carl Schurz Park, my first visit, and good old Central Park. An oldie but a goodie as far as shooting locations go. Another first on this shoot for me were their 2 children (Australian Sheppards) that accompanied us for a while. What beautiful kids!

Kate’s Bat Mitzvah

Kate’s Bat Mitzvah has special meaning to me. It was a milestone really and a booking that gave me confidence that my photography business could suceed and grow. Kate’s mother Kim booked me almost a full 2 years in advance, way back in InfocusNYC’s infancy. The kind things that Kim said about my photography back when she was in the process of hiring me helped give me confidence to keep on keeping on! I’m glad of how far I’ve come in that time and what I was able to do for this special client. Kate’s Bat Mitzvah was a gorgeous event with no detail overlooked held at the Ritz Carlton in Westchester. Entertainment was by my friends at ESP Productions with the duo of MC Milo & RaeRae on the Mics and DJ Hot Sauce on the 1&2s!

Taylor Senior

Taylor is a High School Senior from Indiana. Her mother Lisa contacted me many months in advance about a surprise trip and photo session to New York City. It’s good to know that the site has some kind of Google existence! I love when tourists hire me to capture their special trip to New York. Taylor is an aspiring actress. She was trying to be modest but I was able to finagle the fact out of her that she has landed the lead female role in every play she has acted in. Taylor was great to work with, is beautiful, and was a natural in front of a camera. I wish Senior sessions were as popular here as they are in other parts of the country. I may get to work with Taylor again sometime when she comes back to star on Broadway.
