Maria + Marino Engagement at Gantry Plaza

Maria and Marino had planned originally to shoot their engagement at the Fire Island Lighthouse which is a spot I am eager to shoot.  On this day it was unbelievably windy so we reset the location to Gantry Plaza State Park in Long Island City and I’m glad we did.  Hasn’t the weather been crazy this year?  It was great to see Marino again, who is another former classmate of mine, and his lovely fiancé Maria as well.  It just happens to be his birthday today as well – Happy Birthday Marino!    To continue with the reunion theme of this shoot my former co-worker Chris came along and helped me out carrying gear and with the lighting as well.  Thanks Chris!  Maria and Marino’s wedding will be featured here on the blog real soon.
